San Francisco Plantation House

The exuberant parlor in the historic San Francisco Plantation house southeastern Louisiana, decorated around 1856 covers almost the entire range of decorative and faux finishes in one room. The fireplace is made of cypress, painted to look like azure marble. The ceiling medallion and borders are dressed with gilding, stenciling and free hand design. The doors are treated with wood staining techniques to simulate tiger oak. Amazing pink walls and gold accents.
